40 Hour Kit: Your Perfect Working Day & Finding the Right Price

Hey Reader, thanks for checking out your weekly 40 Hour Kit. Besides this week's content, I'm inviting you to share your current biggest challenge. What has been holding you and your project back in the past few days? Feel free to hit reply, share it, and I will do my best to come up with a valuable connection, resource, or tool that will help unblock you.
Can't wait to hear from you!

Now, let's dive into your 40 Hour Kit for the week:

πŸ’‘ Entrepreneurial Insight

It’s often not the path itself that’s wrong, but your expectations on how fast it will lead to something.

Inspired by Alex Hormozi

βš–οΈ Balance Hack

The 2-Minute-Rule: If an important or urgent task takes less than 2 minutes to complete, do it now instead of writing it on your to-do list or putting it into your calendar.
Not doing it now often leads to unnecessary overhead, stress, and wasted time.

Invented by bestselling author David Allen

πŸš€ Challenge

Imagine your perfect working day:

  • What are the things you would work on?
  • How would it be structured?
  • What kind of work would you do?
  • Who would you work with?
  • Who are your customers?

How big is the gap between your current and your perfect working day?
Put one recurring time blocker (for a new habit, deep work session or anything else) in your calendar that decreases the gap.

✨ Recommendation

Launching a new feature or product?
If you're struggling to find the right price, I highly recommend checking out this as an additional tool:

First, take those four questions and ask your target group about your product:

  • At what price would you start to doubt the quality?
  • At what price does it feel like a really good deal?
  • At what price does it start to seem a bit pricey?
  • At what price is it way too expensive?

Then, plot the answers and find the sweet spot:

Based on the Van Westendorp Pricing Model

❓ Question for you to ask another Entrepreneur

What's a small, unconventional habit that has had a surprisingly big impact on your productivity or well-being?
