40 Hour Kit: Roast Your Landing Page

(Here because of the subject line? Scroll down to the ✨ Recommendation section)

Hey Reader,

Today I kicked off a 60-weekday content challenge. The goal: publish across platforms every single weekday. While my startup (the 40HE Club) is the priority, content is usually what gets squeezed in between the main work. I’m using this challenge to force some structure and, hopefully, stop overthinking it.

Reply and let me know: How do you approach content creation alongside your main startup work?

💡 Entrepreneurial Insight

Copywriting is a core founder skill. To do it well, ensure your copy:

  • Shows you deeply understand the pain.
  • Quantifies your value proposition (e.g., specific time saved).
  • Uses short sentences and simple words.

Based on successful founders Arvid Kahl's and Alex Hormozi's tips on Marketing.

⚖️ Balance Hack

The simple boring walk. When was the last time you took a lone walk without checking your phone or listening to music or a podcast?
30 minutes of walking can help you regain motivation and come up with new creative ideas for your blockers.

Inspired by entrepreneur and writer Craig Mod who goes on (very) long walks across Japan to gain inspiration for his work.

🚀 Challenge

The Inverted Schedule: For one day, do one 'lifestyle habit' first (e.g. workout, hobby, reading) that you usually leave for the evening. Do it before you touch any work. As a quick reminder that your business won't collapse if you prioritize yourself.

Inspired by best-selling author Greg McKeown's principles in Essentialism.

✨ Recommendation

This one is hard. But if you are eager to get painful (and hilarious) feedback, paste this prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini:

"Roast this landing page [your Landing Page URL]. Be brutal. Tell me why I wouldn't buy this."

Inspired by Greg Isenberg (CEO of Late Checkout), who popularized the concept of using AI as a ruthless critic.

❓ Question for you to ask another Entrepreneur

If a 10-year-old followed you around at work for a day, what would they say your 'real job' is? (e.g. "typing emails", "talking to people on screens", "staring at lines").

Wish you a nice & productive week!

Best,

Fabiano
